Yvo & Josiane Bosmans

We are a young Belgian couple, Josiane 41 years old and Yvo 44 years who moved to South Africa towards the end of October, to open our B&B Hottentots View. We both can speak English and understand a bit of Afrikaans.

I have the "Tourism microbe" in my blood as from my childhood. After completing  my  Tourism studies, I have been working for 12 years in an acknowledged travel agency. In this job I could travel a lot, visit countries and sniff strange cultures.

For 9 years i have been teaching Tourism, since this is a part-time job, there rest of my time still sufficient  to do marketing for our Bed & Breakfast.

Yvo had training in industrial automation and enjoyed more senior management and he is regionally technical manager at ATS (Applied Tech Systems) for the regions Belgium, South Africa and Netherlands.  This company has a worldwide establishments and when Yvo made our plans concrete, he was offered the possibility to examine to open an establishment in South Africa.
