Jan Harmsgat Country House

The guest house is only a 2 hour drive from Cape Town, situated between the towns of Swellendam on the N2 and Ashton on the R62. Roberson, Montague and McGregor are within close proximity of the country house and the most southern tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas, is only a hours drive away.

One can relax by the poolside, while reading a book from our extensive libary, or take a walk and explore the farm and its surounding wine routes. Jam Harmsgat and the surounding towns have many activities to keep you busy all day.

Here at Jan Harmsgat you can expect nothing but exellent food. The country house offers breakfast and dinner, with a choice of vegetarian catering on your request and organic produce, which is subjuct to availability.

-Children from the ages of 12 are welcome in the guesthouse at the adult rate.
-Families with children under the age of 12 can be accommodated in the Luxury Room.
-Children 0-3 years stay at 25% of the adult rate in the Luxury Room.
-Children 4-12 years stay at 50% of the adult rate in the Luxury Room.

• All refunds are subject to a 15% administration fee.
• Cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival, forfeit the full payment due on the accommodation as quoted.
  
• Cancellations 7 to 14 days prior to arrival, forfeit 75% of the full payment due on the accommodation as quoted.
  
• Cancellations 14 to 21 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% of the full payment due on the accommodation as quoted.
  
• Cancellations 21 to 28 days prior to arrival, forfeit 25% of the full payment due on the accommodation as quoted.
  
• Cancellations 28 days or more prior to arrival refund of full payment due on the accommodation as quoted.
   
• Bookings will be released automatically & without notification if these conditions are not met.
