Cancellation policy
Any notification of cancellation must be done in writing. The date on which the cancellation is received by us will determine the charges applicable. The following charges apply when cancellation takes place:
- Before 30 days of commencement date: 50% of programme fees retained
- Within 30 days of commencement date: 100% of programme fees retained
If the volunteer fails to join our programme; joins after the commencement date; or leaves prior to completion date
- NO REFUNDS or LIABILITY will be entertained by African Volunteering Adventures.
Volunteer Lion Outreach Project
This haven for lions provides these animals in distress with wonderful care and they are kept safe and free from abuse and persecution. Please note that no physical contact will be allowed with the lions as we promote the wildlife conservation and therefore the safe-keeping and dignity of these predators.
Price Includes:
- Transport to and from Cape Town International Airport on the commencing date and last day of the tour
- Self-catering accommodation in log-cabin on the farm
- Weekly trips to nearest village for shopping
- 4 day tour of Western Cape
- Welcome supper and orientation
Price Excludes:
- Food, laundry service and travel/medical insurance
Please note that rates are subject to change according to exchange rate. A 50% depsosit is required on reservation.
